Short links and QR codes

Tick Create a short link and QR code when you build a link to get a go.planconversion.com address that counts clicks, and change its destination later without reprinting the QR code.

Create and manage short links

1. Create the short link
   On Build, keep Create a short link and QR code ticked and press Create link. On Pro, type a custom ending first (letters, numbers, - and _, 3 to 64 characters).
2. Design the QR code
   Below the result, choose Color, Background and a dot style (Square, Rounded or Dots). Tick Frame with caption to add text such as "Scan me". On Pro, press Add logo (PNG, JPG or SVG under 200 KB).
3. Download or save the style
   Press PNG or SVG to download. Press Save as team default, or Save style for this link in the link's details.
4. See clicks
   On Links, press Details: clicks in the last 90 days and all time, last click, and clicks by country, device and referrer.
5. Change where it goes
   Press Edit, change the Destination URL or values, and press Save changes. The short link and its QR code follow the new address.
6. Archive or restore
   In Details, press Archive to stop the short link, or Restore to turn it back on.

Good to know

• Free includes 100 new short links a month. Short links you already made keep working and counting clicks on any plan.
• Bots and link previews are not counted, and no IP addresses are stored.
• Changing a link's ending (Pro) breaks the old short link and any QR code printed with it. Changing the destination does not.
• An archived short link shows "This link does not exist or was archived".
• Links has a search box, Show archived and Export CSV.
