Use your own short link domain

On Pro, save a subdomain such as go.yourcompany.com in Integrations and add a CNAME record that points to planconversion-pacing.netlify.app; we check DNS every 10 minutes and switch the domain on automatically, with its certificate ready within an hour.

Connect your domain

1. Pick a subdomain
   Choose a subdomain you control and don't use for anything else, such as go.yourcompany.com or links.yourcompany.com. A root domain such as yourcompany.com can't be used.
2. Save it in Link Console
   Open Integrations, Your short link domain, type the subdomain and press Save domain. The status shows Pending activation.
3. Add the CNAME record
   At your DNS provider, add a CNAME record. Name: the first part of the subdomain, for example go. Value: planconversion-pacing.netlify.app. Remove any other record with the same name.
4. Wait for activation
   We check for the record every 10 minutes. To check right away, press Check now under the steps.
5. Confirm it is live
   The status changes to Active and the workspace gets an email. The security certificate can take up to an hour to finish.

Good to know

• New short links use your domain once it is active. Links you already shared keep working on go.planconversion.com too.
• On your domain, only your workspace's links open.
• Using Cloudflare? Set the record to DNS only (grey cloud). A proxied record hides the CNAME and the check can't see it.
• DNS changes can take up to an hour to show. If the record is in place but the domain still needs a hand, the app says we will switch it on within one business day.
• Press Remove to go back to go.planconversion.com.
